THE INSTITUTE
In
conjunction with its move to Memphis, the Shrine established its
"Institute" for the development and sponsorship of educational
programs, such as lecture series and workshops in the areas of social
justice, healing, and spiritual growth. In addition, activities
traditionally associated with Shrines, such Masses, prayer services,
retreats and tours are scheduled throughout the year. Check for event information.
The
St. Martin de Porres Shrine & Institute promotes St. Martin's
legacy of social justice and healing in a city which is host to the
National Civil Rights Museum, and the world renowned St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital.
